NarseeMonjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) is the official entrance exam of Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies.NMAT test is the gateway to take admission to all the MBA Full Time courses of NMIMS Mumbai and the PGDM courses of NMIMS Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Aspire candidate can take NMAT up to a maximum of 3 including no shows. There has to be a gap of at least 15 days between two attempts.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING IN NMAT 2015








  • Full Time Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
  • Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are not eligible to apply.


  • Examination pattern for NMAT 2015

     Type of exam- NMAT 2015 will be computer based aptitude test .

     Total number of Question - 120

     Total Time Duration - 2 hours or 120 minutes

     Correct attempt- 1 marks for each correct answer 

     Incorrect attempt-  No negative marking for any wrong answer.

    • Language Skills- In Language Skills question can be from Reading Comprehension, Passages,  Poems, Synonyms, Anonyms,  Dictionary meanings of different words, Syntax, and correct grammar and Language usage and their rules.
    • Logical Reasoning-In this section question will be from Coding & Decoding, Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments, Series, Family tree, Multi-dimensional arrangements and  Puzzles
    • Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation & DS -Number system, geometry, trigonometry,probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages,profit and loss,quadratic and linear equations,etc.Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, table, graphs, venn diagram, chart and etc.

     Registration Date - 2rd July - 24th September 2014

    Late Registration Date- 25th September - 4th October2014

    Scheduling - 17th July 2014 - 7th October 2014

    Rescheduling - 17th July 2014 - 17th December 2014

    Exam Delivery Window  - 7th October- 20th December 2014

    Retake Scheduling - 7th October- 19th December 2014

    Declaration of Result- 25th January 2015

     Registration of GD/ PI- 23rd January - 3rd February 2015

    Conduct GD/ PI - 11th February - 24th February

    First Merit List - 4th March   2015
