Cochin University of Science and Technology ( CUSAT ) is one of the premier universities in India.Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) for the admission in the various educational programs like B.Tech, BBA, LLB, LLM, MBA, MCA, MA, MSc, M.Phil, M.Tech, Ph.D and PG Diploma Courses in CUSAT university and its affiliated colleges.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING IN ( CUSAT CAT) 2015

For M.Phil Degree in Hindi with at least 55% marks

For LLM degree in Law with at least 45% marks.

For MSc B.Sc. degree in related discipline with 55% marks

LFor MA B.A./B.Sc.degree

For MBA Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with aggregate markes of 50%.

For B.Tech Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (PCM) as optional subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks aggregates.

For M.Tech Pass B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc Engineering Degree Examination in Civil Engineering branch from any University in Kerala or examination of any other University /Institution accepted by this University as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 60% marks.

Examination pattern for ( CUSAT CAT) 2015

TEST for engineering

The test comprises of 250 objective type multiple choice questions based on Plus Two syllabus. Of this, 125 questions will be from Mathematics and 125 questions will be from Physics and Chemistry with physics to chemistry ratio maintained at 3:2. The duration of the test will be three hours and the maximum marks will be 750. The admission to following courses is based on the score in this test.

Test for MBA

For MBA courses of the University, the admission to the 2014 batch will be based on C-MAT (AICTE)/ MAT (AIMA) score and performance at Group Discussion and Interview conducted by the University. However, they must also submit their applications online to the University within the stipulated time.
